The
Inter County Finals of the Pearson trophy
took place on Friday 25th July at west Hill
Golf Club, Surrey. |
|
The semi finals in the
morning were played beteween Surrey (Roehampton
G.C.) and Hertfordshire (Mid Herts) together
with Kent (Westerham) and Middlesex (Muswell
Hill).

The finalists for the
afternoon were Hertfordshire and Kent. The
match was played in great spirit, in
wonderful weather, with a crowd of
supporters spellbound by the standard of
golf and ended in a nail biting end when the
seventh match was required to go down the
19th (other six were split 3-3).

It was down to the
final putt when
Mid Herts claimed the trophy for
Hertfordshire keeping the trophy in the
County for another year. |

An amazing day
which has left us all exhausted but very
proud. |
